A sad day for movie fans everywhere, as Roger Ebert lost his battle against the cancer that robbed him of his ability to speak, eat, and drink, but not his ability to write. I’ll always remember watching Siskel & Ebert in the 80s. In those pre-Internet days, they were the defacto movie reviewers for an entire generation. I still remember their Platoon review, as well Raiders of the Lost Ark. Thumbs up, sir. Thumbs up.
